Our Team.
To ensure a commercial-grade execution capable of handling high-density crowds and dynamic operational constraints, a highly structured Four-Director Governance Model was established. This framework allocated clear, non-overlapping Roles & Responsibilities (R&R) to maximize accountability and operational efficiency across multiple university networks.

Navigating Public Space Compliance:
Executing a live, public-facing event in Nottingham City Centre required rigorous adherence to local government legislation. To ensure complete legal compliance and professional commercial standards, the management team successfully navigated the complex statutory procedures of the local authority.

Nottingham Trent University’s Official Public Liability Insurance Certificate (£50,000,000 Limit)
This document was compiled and cross-referenced during the S171 City Council licensing application to ensure comprehensive risk underwriting and professional-grade institutional compliance for the outdoor live performance

Statutory Benchmarking via the Nottingham City Council Events Guidance (2025/26)
To elevate project commercial-grade public production, the management team utilised the official Nottingham City Council Events Guidance 2025/26.
Every operational decision, site layout map, and safety protocol was systematically cross-referenced with the specific statutory mandates detailed within this 105-page municipal guide.

<Risk Assessment>

Micro-Site Mapping (MLO7): A precise layout designated a 102 m² performance zone in St Peter's Square using removable floor markers and lightweight crowd control tape. Crucially, a minimum 4-metre-wide pedestrian thoroughfare was strictly maintained at all times to prevent any obstruction of the public highway or local storefront entries (such as Marks & Spencer).

The Purple Guide Compliance (MLO5, MLO8): Modeled directly on the UK industry standard The Purple Guide (The Event Safety Guide) and HSE national risk assessment criteria, a comprehensive Risk Assessment Matrix was embedded
<Cue sheet and Action plan>

To maintain absolute structural control during the exploratory Pre-show at the Framework Knitters Museum, a granular, minute-by-minute Operation Sheet was developed and executed. This timeline ensured that all moving parts—including technical setup, dancer welfare, and live documentation—were perfectly synchronized under high-pressure live conditions.
By distributing a centralized guideline document long before the event day, the management team successfully minimized operational friction, aligned multiple university sub-departments (NTU, University of Nottingham, Loughborough University), and ensured that each director possessed autonomous clarity over their designated R&R.
